National School Counseling Week February 10, 2017 As National School Counseling Week comes to an end, PCG Education wants to express its gratitude towards all school counselors across the country. We partner with school districts because we strive to enhance learning for students in a meaningful context. Our afterschool programs, summer programs, and more are designed to support the development of proficient communicators, creators, critical thinkers, and collaborators. Counselors have the same goals. School counselors set healthy, realistic, and optimistic aspirations for their students. Counselors are supportive of students whom have academic concerns and are unfamiliar of career goals, but also invest time into their personal and social lives. They support each student by being his or her number one cheerleader. Counselors want students to know they can do anything they put their mind to, while also striving to improve student success. School counselors help students analyze their strengths, interests and talents. They positively focus on enhancing students social, personal, educational and career development. As you can see below, they are essential to all schools. So, we at PCG want to thank school counselors for sharing common goals with us. We want to thank them for helping our goal of positively influencing every student we have the opportunity to help.
