Happy International Children's Book Day! This day was founded in 1967 and has been going strong ever since. We asked a few members of our team... "What is YOUR favorite children's book?" We loved the responses!
Aaron, Inside Sales/Marketing Coordinator, said he loved "The Little Red Caboose," by Marian Potter, when he was really, really young. Tamu, Director of Field Operations, said "Where the Sidewalk Ends," by Shel Silverstein, will always be a favorite. Summer, Marketing Associate, states "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" by Dr. Seuss, can never be beat. Hilary, Operations Support Specialist, had a hard time choosing just one book! She went with "A Wrinkle in Time," by Madeleine L'Engle, "Madeline," by Ludwig Bemelmans, and "Pippi Longstocking," by Astrid Lindgren. Chad, Director of Recruiting & Human Resources, also had to hard time choosing. His favorites are "Gregor the Overlander Chronicles," which he has been reading with his son, by Suzanne Collins, and "Love You Forever," by Robert Munsch.
Is your favorite children's book on this list? If not, let us know... what is YOUR favorite children's book? We, at PCG Education, encourage everyone to pick up their favorite children's book today and give it a read, whether it is aloud to others or quietly to yourself. Happy reading!
