July Instructor Spotlight

Mrs. Carol Lyttle is a PCG Education second grade teacher at Walnut Hill Elementary School, part of Petersburg City Public Schools, in Petersburg, Virginia.  The Petersburg 21st Century team has nothing but good words to always say about one of their most outstanding teachers.  Mrs. Lyttle does not only teach during the school year, but also dedicates her time to help teach 21st Century afterschool programs and EPIC Summer Camps.

Members of the Petersburg 21st Century team state, "Mrs. Carol Lyttle has worked as an instructor for the 21st Century afterschool tutoring program for the last two years.  She is a dynamic person, inside and out.  She is an outstanding team player, hard worker, enthusiastic about teaching and learning, and most importantly, an advocate for her students.  I am proud to recognize Mrs. Lyttle for her outstanding efforts during the school year, in addition to our EPIC Summer Camp.  Thank you Mrs. Lyttle for being a part of the PCG family!"


Karin Reavis, Site Coordinator for Walnut Hill Elementary School states,  "This summer, in addition to last summer, Mrs. Lyttle has gone above and beyond during the school year and camp.  I have more who are great, but she really stands out.  She is very enthusiastic about all of the activities and I never see her campers off task."
