PCG announced yesterday that more than a quarter of its worldwide staff donated $100,548 to support victims of Hurricane Harvey. PCG matched those donations 2-for-1 to increase the company's total support for Harvey relief victims. With this commitment in place, the company collectively raised $301,644 in the short period of nine days.
Hurricane Harvey started to hit Texas on August 25th, 2017. The hurricane caused well over $100 billion in damage, making it the most damaging natural disaster in United States history - apart from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Hurricane Harvey affected multiple people from various southern states, including Mississippi, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Having several offices in the South, PCG employees came together to assist their local communities, fellow personnel, and complete strangers.
CEO and founder of PCG, William Mosakowski, commented, "I am proud of my PCG colleagues' generous response, and it demonstrates how much PCG cares about those who live in the communities we serve."
