Charleston Teachers are EPIC!

This year's camp season marked UI's 7th summer partnering with Kaleidoscope and Charleston County School District (CCSD) to host EPIC Summer Camp.  Camp was held at twelve school sites, starting in mid-June and ending this past week.  Five teachers working in the EPIC program were recognized as Teacher of the Year (TOTY) for their respected schools in the 2018-2019 school year!  These teachers include Angela Broughton, teacher at Ladson Elementary and EPIC teacher at Pinehurst Elementary, LaTasha Singleton, both teacher and EPIC teacher at Oakland Elementary, and Lisa Cowan, teacher at Hunley Park and EPIC teacher at Goodwin Elementary.

In May, CCSD held the 2018-2019 TOTY celebration and out of eighty total teachers representing their schools, Jayuntay Williams was chosen as the 2019 TOTY.  We are proud to have these enthusiastic and dedicated teachers in our EPIC programs.  Thank you for all that you do!
